Local Figure Skating Club Prepares for Upcoming Performance

BELLINGHAM- The Bellingham Figure Skating Club will be performing a Winter Show called “The Night before Christmas On Ice” on December 7th and 8th. The show will take place at 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Tickets went on sale Nov. 1^st for $7 each. You are also able to purchase tickets at the door for $9 each. The show will be held at the Sportplex arena, located at 1225 Civic Field Way.

This will be the club’s 16^th annual Winter Show and is also their biggest fundraiser of the year. Since the club is a non-profit volunteer organization, contributions made will be used to support the clubs events and programs.

Some members in the community have already marked their calendars and are looking forward to the date.

Emily Larson, a Bellingham resident who has already purchased a ticket, said she is excited to see the performance.

“It will get me into the Christmas spirit and will be new fun tradition to go to with friends,” Larson said.

Skaters have been practicing since Sept. 10^th, and the event will allow them to showcase their skills.
