BELLINGHAM- The Rapids Semi Professional Soccer Club has
began their preseason for the Premier
Arena Soccer League, and plans to play an exhibition match against Western
Washington University’s men’s
soccer team on Sat., Nov. 16th at 7:20 p.m.
The exhibition match will not impact the team’s rankings
once the season begins.
The game will take place at the Sportsplex Arena, located at
1225 Civic Way. The costs to attend are $5 per adult and $3 per child.
So far this season, the team has played one game against
Arlington and tied with a score of 6-6.
Sunjinda Dangvan, a member of the team, says the team is
looking good. His goal for the season is to win his league and go to nationals.
“We just need more time to play together and get into the
swing of things,” Dangvan said.
Dangvan scored 4 of the 6 points during the match against
Arlington. Dan Anderson and Scott Swanson, members of the team, scored the
other 2 points.
The Premier Arena Soccer League is made up of teams
