Puget Neighborhood Association Plans Upcoming Meeting




The Puget Neighborhood Association has a board meeting scheduled for October 29th, and will hold the next general meeting on November 19th where they will be discussing information regarding the neighborhood and future development projects.

So far, Gaythia Weis, president of the Puget Neighborhood Association, has received a request from the Community Energy Challenge who would like to give a short presentation. Also during the meeting, they will discuss the Hearing Examiners decision regarding University Ridge. The decision has been announced and approved on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd by the Hearing Examiner Dawn Sturwold. Click here for Sturwold’s decision. Also during the meeting, they will discuss a proposal for the land south of Fred Meyer from a new developer.

AVT Construction LCC will be holding a meeting on behalf of Langstan Management at the Elks Lodge in Bellingham on Oct. 30th at 6 p.m. to invite the public to comment and ask questions regarding their proposal. The meeting will discuss the proposed project for the first phase of development on the undeveloped property lying south of Fred Meyer, west of Lincoln Street, East of 1-5 and north of E. Maple Street.
